Project Workshops
Finding The Heart of the Book
Workshop Duration : 6 Hours
Student Level : Beginner and beyond.
You will be expected to learn how to alter an old book to create a work of art by cutting, tearing, ageing, embellishing and painting. Whilst learning these techniques, you will produce a piece of 3D art which will feature a miniature heart centerpiece.
Making Fabric Paper
Workshop Duration : 6 Hours
Student Level : Beginner and beyond.
You will learn a layering technique using three layers ( fabric, ephemera and photocopies, tissue paper ) to create a fabric-like paper. You will also learn how to use dyes and paints to create integral colors within the paper. Whilst learning these techniques, you will produce a piece of wall art.

Backgrounds
Workshop Duration : 6 Hours
Student Level : Beginner and beyond ( Need to know basics of making fabric paper ).
You will be expected to learn how to take the next step in making decorative papers. You will make background papers from wallpaper, brown paper, “Tyvek” and dryer sheets. The papers will be dyed, spackled, foiled, stamped and gessoed.
Embellishments
Workshop Duration : 6 Hours
Student Level : Beginner and beyond.
This is a day of embellishing your heart out !! You will be expected to learn how to make small padded hearts which are then beaded. You will be painting strips of watercolor paper which you will then decorate with eyelets, sequins and beads. You will decorate tags using wallpaper, rubber stamps, charms, brads and ribbons. You will embellish strips of fabric paper with buttons and ribbons
